CPS Guided Practice

Is Collaborative Problem Solving Guided Practice for me?

CPS Guided Practice is open to anyone who has attended a CPS Tier 1 or Tier 2 Training. If you want to advance your understanding of the model and potentially take the next steps toward further training (Tier 2) or becoming Certified in CPS, then Collaborative Problem Solving Guided Practice is right for you.

With CPS Guided Practice you’ll join a small group of other CPS-trainees in online meetings to discuss how you are applying CPS in your work/home and receive peer feedback and personalized coaching from Think:Kids staff. CPS Guided Practice will help you reach your specific goals in using the model and connect you to a broad community of CPS coaching and support.


  • Receive coaching focused on your specific cases, including feedback on your practice videos
  • Focus on troubleshooting systemic challenges in your particular setting
  • Access to our network of CPS experts
  • Increased preparedness for advancing to the next level of training in CPS
  • Collaborate with practitioners from diverse experiences and various organizations from all around the world


8-Session Online Collaborative Problem Solving Guided Practice:

  • September 14 (4pm-5pmET/1pm-2pmPT)
  • September 28 (4pm-5pmET/1pm-2pmPT)
  • October 12 (4pm- 5pm ET/1pm-2pm PT)
  • October 26 (4pm-5pm ET/1pm-2pm PT)
  • November 9 (4pm-5pm ET/1pm-2pm PT)
  • November 16 (4pm-5pmET/1pm-2pmPT)
  • November 30 (4pm-5pmET/1pm-2pmPT)
  • December 14 (4pm-5pmET/1pm-2pmPT)

** Please note we will skip the week of November 22nd in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday and will have two weeks of back-to-back class sessions. The week of November 8th and then the following week, November 15th**


  • When registering, you are signing up for all 8-online sessions. Each session is one hour.
  • All participants must join via their own device. If joining as a group, each person should be on an individual device.
  • Limited to 12-spots.
