Members of our Think:Kids Certified Community include parents, educators, mental health professionals, and more. They provide a range of services such as outpatient and in-home counseling, inpatient and residential treatment, and teach our Parent/Caregiver, Introduction, and Essential Foundation courses.

About Me:
  • Maria Sanders, a Licensed Social Worker, is certified in the Collaborative Problem Solving® (CPS) approach through Think:Kids, a program within the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. She specializes in supporting parents with a wide range of challenges, from bedtime struggles to navigating parent-teen conflicts.

    Maria offers personalized, one-on-one coaching for parents, available virtually or at her Montclair, NJ office. She also provides professional development workshops for schools (public and private), pediatric offices, professional organizations, and corporate groups.

    With a background as a school social worker, Maria has extensive experience working with Child Study Teams and leading social skills groups. She also brings over 15 years of expertise as an Early Intervention Specialist, serving as both a teacher and social worker.
