About Me:
  • I began learning about Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) in 2018 and have since led districtwide implementation efforts grounded in this approach. Between 2018 and 2025, I led a diverse school district in embedding CPS into daily practice and used the model within the design of a therapeutic classroom framework. In 2023, I became a Certified CPS Trainer, expanding my role to include professional learning and coaching. Our district’s work with CPS was featured in the book, Implementing Social Emotional Learning: Insights from School Districts’ Successes and Setbacks, recognizing both the successes and lessons learned through implementation. Since 2024, I have been independently training and supporting schools, educators, and families in CPS, helping them apply collaborative problem solving to build empathy, teach skills, and create environments where kids and adults do well if they can.
