About Me:
  • As the Director of Learning Foundations, I’ve spent years helping students overcome learning and attention challenges by strengthening the underlying skills needed for academic success. My journey with Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) began on a very personal level—with my own son.

When he started having difficulty at school, I watched things escalate and felt frustrated that nothing was truly helping. Deep down, I knew he was a good kid who was struggling, not misbehaving. Working in the field of cognitive training taught me that every challenge has an underlying cause, and I wanted to understand the “why” behind his behaviors.

Discovering CPS changed everything. It provided me with a compassionate, practical framework to connect with my son, address both of our concerns, and find real solutions together. Now, I’m passionate about sharing CPS with other parents and professionals who want to help kids feel understood and thrive.
