Thanks to our Certification Program, there is a growing community of people who are Certified and Certified Trainers across North America and the world!

Members of our Think:Kids Certified Community include parents, educators, mental health professionals, and more. They provide a range of services such as outpatient and in-home counseling, inpatient and residential treatment, and teach our Parent/Caregiver, Introduction, and Essential Foundation courses.

About Me:
  • Mike Hursh has been Certified in Collaborative Problem Solving since 2012. Mike was a Certified Trainer from 2012-2024, and shifted to being a Certified member in 2024. Mike works as a school adjustment counselor at North Reading Middle School and holds a small private practice where he works remotely with individuals, parents/caretakers, families, and groups, primarily focusing on CPS as the guiding philosophy behind his work.

    Mike has a long history of working with children and families in a variety of therapeutic capacities, ranging from residential treatment to public school, to outpatient therapy. Mike thoroughly enjoys leading Parent/Caregiver Classes and has provided Introduction to CPS to several organizations and schools. Mike has recently begun to introduce CPS to his colleagues in North Reading and is always excited to work with parents/caretakers through classes or family therapy and coaching.
